Affordable Housing
Calgary Co-op and Truman are partnering with non-profit Liberty Housing Organization to dedicate a portion of units in Marc & Mada Block as affordable, non-market homes.
Since Liberty’s inception in 2015, the organization has delivered more than 500 affordable homes in the Calgary area. Liberty’s housing programs are designed to assist low to moderate income households who are unable to secure conventional mortgage financing or find affordable rentals.
Liberty and Truman have a dynamic longstanding partnership that allows Liberty to acquire affordable homes directly through Truman-led projects. Liberty Housing Organization’s mission is to help close Calgary’s affordability gap – and they believe that everyone deserves a safe, comfortable, and affordable place to call home.
